Boots/Shoe portraits
My series Boots manifested from a photo of two pairs of great boots with a lot of personality. I have always been somewhat of a boot connoisseur. Working with horses I find myself not only living in boots, but also surrounded by them. Boots gain character with age and carry stories of hard work, near misses, animal adventures, and distances traveled. This series has been fun for me. Although these boots are inanimate objects I have added a feeling of narrative, mood and character. This will be an ongoing series that has turned me into a boot paparazzi!
